Celebrating 25 Years of Walking for Peace!

The Mother’s Day Walk for Peace is a celebration of our potential to create more peaceful communities. Every year families from across the state and region unite toward peace. Join us on Mother’s Day online to demand dignity and compassion for all families impacted by murder. The Mother’s Day Walk for Peace is the Louis D. Brown Peace Institute’s (LDBPI) largest fundraising event to grow and sustain our services, advocacy and training. In 2021, our goal is to raise $600,000!

Join us for 25 Days of Walking: Register and join in on the virtual warm up —an opportunity to virtually walk together in the five weeks leading up to the live broadcast celebration. Upon registration, you will receive a calendar of weekly activities, starting Monday, April 4, that you and your team can do together. From mindfulness activities, physical activities, fundraising tips to pre-walk events, together we’ll get our minds and bodies moving and honor lives impacted by homicide.
